It captured my heart and imagination from the very first line and didn't let go, even after turning the last page.The descriptions of the time talked about by Lark are... Pleasant little book, very easy read. I'm not sure if Ms. Zinda really meant for this book to be scary, but it is an interesting tale of the Peshtigo tragedy and the ghosts that may lurk because of it. I was intrigued to continue to the ending. This book was hauntingly beautiful. It was extremely well-written, and I found few instances when the book was slow-moving. The characters are well-developed in this book, and I loved the fact that even near the end of the book, I kept learning new things about the characters.I'll be honest and say that the ending was predictable, but...
